Recently purchased a 99 ACR with plenty of HMS and Mopar performance upgrades. Absolutely loving the power and handling and suspect this is the first in a long line of Vipers I'll own during my lifetime.

The highest Octane fuel I've been able to find in my area is Sunoco (94). I'm wondering if an Octane boost off the shelf might be in order and if so does anybody have specific reccomendations as to what or what not to use.

Thanks!

From what I have read on here from previous posts about fuel additives, the consensus is that they are not to be used. The premium unleaded gas alone is sufficient. I cant even get over 93 octane here

I honestly don't know what I'm talking about but I'll throw in a thought I have...

If 93 is better for performance than '87 Octane or '89 or '92, etc..
Why wouldn't an octane boost to jump your curret fuel to say, '95 octane be better than '93 Octane straight from the pump?

I think you are confusing the terms “PROOF” and “OCTANE”.
