Gas Pedal Rattle

Whenever I let off of my gas pedal, it rattles up and down and makes a godawful racket. I thought it was the spring on the pedal axis, but that looks good; it's the entire pedal assembly that's bouncing up and down. Does anyone have a known (preferably cheap and easy) fix for this? Aside, of course, from just never letting off of the gas.

I Own my car for 4 months know and every time I drive it annoys the hell out of me to. I installed stainless pedals hoping the noise would go away but its still there, someone help.

Yeah, mine did that until I put in the corsa exhaust. Now the rattle is gone. Gee, same for Neutral gear rattle. And I don't seem to hear that whiney chick in the passenger seat anymore either...

Drove during the weekend 600 miles with the new CORSA ... and, the "rattle" has gone!

BTW, (rattle-)snakes rattle ...

or...?
