Gen 1 (96) Exhaust question

What is the size of the exhaust pipes on a gen1 (96 rear-exit), and is the cat bolted in or welded?

As much as you wrench on your viper (highly commendable), it may be worth while to invest in the 1996 factory service manuals...Especially since yours is a rare breed of snake...Dunno what I would do without mine...
