Gen 2 Interchangeable intakes?

I'm planning on smoothing out my intake and getting it colormatched. To save time on the project I have found another intake to buy so I can smooth it out and then just swap them out. I was wondering if they will be a direct swap?

I have a 2000 GTS. I was told this intake come off a 1999 GTS.

Is there anything I need to know before I buy this?

I was thinking of doing the same thing....using port matching and then extrude honing it....what are your plans for the intake internally?

These numbers match my current intake, so these should swap out?

cal jonb or mike 99 rt10 and ask them as they are knowledgeable. but im pretty sure any gen2 will work. cant think of any differences. but call one of them

Yeah, one of my favorite things is handling tech support calls and questions to make it easier for you to buy stuff off of flea-bay instead of from me...... Makes me feel all tingley and special inside!!!!

You could certainly take the opportunity to port-match the throttle-body and runner inlets, even with a dremel tool.... will yield snappier throttle response and maybe 10 HP...

Extrude-Honing is expensive and time-consuming, but effective IF you have other flow-mods planned.
