How's it going? I am just checking to see if anyone has a set of Gen 2 original valve covers they want to sell. I have a 1996 GTS and during winter storage noticed a bubble in the paint on one of them. I know I can have them stripped and redone but not like the OEM paint. If anyone has a set of stock valve covers in mint condition please let me know.

Thanks....

They are made of magnesium. Last time I talked to Jon I think he had restored valve covers for $249 exchange or $425 outright, but I could be mistaken.

im 99% sure you cannot perfectly match the powder on the stock VC's. you can match color but NOT color and texture.

yes they are magnesium, the coater needs to know how to strip them correctly

Buying the stock ones at $425 or powdercoating the VCs and intake probably cost the same. If you like the look of stock, go that way, but you should check out PC options. Some think they look better, the texture IS different but done right, they can look great.
