Well, I took my seats to a local auto uphostery shop and they added more cushion in the bottom to raise my back and give it more support. They also added some cushion in the lower lumbar area. Cost about $100 a seat. It feels like it fixed the problem I posted about a while back regarding poor lower back support. They also said to bring it back for adjustments if needed-no charge. (I will know more when I put them back in after I get the Autoform Roll Bar installed and take it for a drive).

Lesson: If anyone out there is having back trouble when they sit in their Gen 3 seats, don't just "put up with it" take them out (very easy) and take them to a local shop and see if they can help. It's worth a try.

Thanks, I'll look into that.

I understand why lumbar is needed, but can you explain how adding to the seat bottom helps?

thanks,
~Jay

Go out and look and push on the seat right where you sit. It is like a hole that gets deeper. This creates an open space at your lower back where you lower back is so low even a lumbar support would not help much. More cushion in the bottom keeps your lower back higher and this in line with the lower part of the back of the seat.
