Gen 3 separate from GEN 1&2 on this board

In my opinion(ok who asked me?) the gen 3 cars will need us more than the gen 1 and 2 cars need them.At VOI the stress was always "ONE VIPER NATION" desparaely trying to sell the new srt-10 gen 3 car to us.I drove one.It is a very nice car.It does not give you chills or boil your blood.Yep the brakes are great and it is EASY to drive.Cup holders and an auto tranny are not an option.It is strange that this board is keeping us separate when DC is so desperate to proclaim that we are one.Owners of the ******* and windowless Gen 1 cars may opt for a more civilized version.Gen 2 rt and gts owners,I don't think so.I can't have both and will stay with my Gen 2 GTS.I sincerely hope that all those that will dump them (gen 3 srt 10 cars) will make a profit and the gen 3 will be successful so that a GT version will be made.Your GTS may be the last and the RT may be the last good looking roadster.My wife(not a car person) likes the hood better on the gen 3 cars and I agree.Bumped to forum sugggestions and oblivion no doubt.01 GTS NOT FOR SALE OR TRADE, Bruce

If your looking for decisions that were arrived at logically vis-a-vie this site you will be disapointed!...This site is run by a couple of people who make arbitrary decisions regarding - content, format, even where you may post a comment. In fact I'll be surprised if this topic isn't moved. Complaining is useless.

Being one nation doesn't mean we can't have commonwealths inside. I have decided to wash my hands of the S<FONT size="-2">(rt)</FONT s>2000 and since it doesn't look like much of the components will be interchangeable I don't see a reason to even acknowledge its existence yet.

Besides which, them S<FONT size="-2">(rt)</FONT s>2000 guys think they're better than the GTS guys (oh sacrilege) and the GTS guys think they're better than the RT guys (the whinners), so segregation might not be all that bad of an idea here.

I don't know about that gts look down on rt stuff.I like the rt's.I got a gts because they are just more practical than an rt in my area(A practical viper????).They do make me jealous on some of those just perfect sunny and cool days or starlit nights. Bruce
