Got a call from a friend who works for a Chrysler dealership nearby, and they got a notice that the last of the Gen I Viper engines are being closed out by Dodge for the tidy sum of $10,900 each. this is the last of the new Gen I engines, and when they are gone, there won't be any more new Gen I replacement engines around. So, if you are interested in obtaining one of these engines, get to your Dodge or Chrysler dealer to order one from the parts department. I have no idea how many are left, but it can't be many.
