How do you tie down you GEN II GTS/RT to a trailer?

This question was the result of a conversation with a couple guys who do a lot of transporting of Vipers and other cars.

Do you use the frame slots? Or do you use another point for tie down? I use the frame slots.

Do you leave the car in gear with the e-brake on? or in neutral with no brake? I use the brake and in-gear method. The proper method varies depending on who you ask?

Just curious?

R hooks in the frame slots, cross the straps, E brake on, Place the Tranny in Neutral after the car is strapped down. Then at my destination I put the car in gear before unstrapping with the E brake still on.

Ive towed a LOT. I insert a J or D hook, forged, into the 4 frame slots. Then, insert the rathcheting tie-down into that forged device.

Ratchet tie blades alone WILL bend / tear the frame. Did it to my 93.

I NEVER trailered in gear. Too much bangity-banging the driveline. I just went w/ E-brake *******, and returned in-gear when parked, off-loading. "DONT FORGET"

I also suggest buyin some hard-rubber wheel chocks like truck supply houses furnish truckers. Helps the trailer stay put, and also the car when trailering
