Are the mounting systems for the accessories on gen1's in the same location as gen2 motors, just different brackets? IE: can a gen1 motor be outfited w/ a gen2 serpentine system?

How much do the stock valve covers weigh? What about the plenum(minus the rails, injectors and TB's)?

Does the 96 RT/10 motor have the gen1 exhaust manifolds system or gen2 "headers"? Weight between the two?

Max,
I'm not going to take this one question at a time. Let's just say that I don't know much about it either.

Oh well... guess I got to go diggin' though some tech manuals.

I was hopeing that a gen2 belt system would swap onto a gen1 car.

The question I would like to know is this. If I ever had to replace the engine in my 94 could I put in a gen2?

According to mopar, their 450hp rated gen2 motor is a direct replacement for all year vipers. "upgrade your 400hp motor to the new 450hp motor" is even a tag line in there somewhere. So yeah, I guess it would be a direct replacement.
