Ok, so I've seen it asked around, but I'm looking for that definitive answer.

17" Gen1 wheels, I assume 17x10 in the front. I plan on running:

315/35R17 V700/V70A's in the front
335/35R17 in the rear.

Anyone run this combo? Does that 315 fit on that 10" wheel fine?

And to complicate matters... What about the kumho XS tire? Who's running it? And how comparable is it to the V700? (I realize people are saying they are wider and I may not be able to run the 315 in the front with the XS)

The XS is wider than the V700, but compareable in stickiness. Not sure if they make a 295 or 305, but to be safe go with the 295. Less chance of rubbing & limiting the possibility of less than full lock-to-lock movement in the steering. JonB at PartsRack.com - Home has the best prices around.

I have run the very combo.....What the "BOOK SAYS" and what reality says are two different answers. It depends on where / how you dirve. I invite you to call for a discussion on yous drives, the cautions-pros-cons and care of a 315/17 as a front, and the possible benefits if you decide anyway.

And we can provide the chosen tires at competitive prices, thanks 99rt Michael
