Hello Viper guys!

My names Dennis and I'm confronted with a problem. Maybe some of you can help me :D
I have a 2000 GTS, upgraded with several parts to a thing between GTS/ACR and GTS-R. The engine is a '99 engine with forget pistons etc.
I removed A/C and am looking for a pulley kit where I can use the no-A/C OEM belt. Also this kit should be 100% compatible to the Paxton SC and the crank pulley should be strong enough :dunno:.
Would anybody recommend me this plan in fact, the Paxton SC pulley gets directly mounted to the crank pulley?

Another question...
I slightly tuned my engine, but all the aero, suspension, brake, interior etc. is final so far... My engine setup is as follows:

3" B&B headers, 3" sidepipes, no catalytics
K&N filters 57i kevlar box, welded smooth tubes
70mm throttle bodies (intake manifold got 70mm bore too)
big radiator, thermostat, big oilcooler, Fidanza flywheel

I don't know too much of cars, but I have some Mopar race 1.7 roller rockers here. With the big inlet and the big outlet, this should work quite well, what do you think? I once saw somebody posting, that they will not make much more power to the wheels, 'but you would feel this in the seat'. May it have effect or not? Could somebody make a honest proposal for +hp, I get with the RRs to this setup?

(Additionally to this setup comes the Paxton SC one day)

Thank you for reading.

i can only answer a few things for ya.

the paxton pulley DOES get mounted to the crank.
1.7 RR's will add about 15-20rwhp and you "should" feel it

not sure why you wouldnt just use a standard OEM pulley kit rather than an underdrive one.. ? JonB of partsrack.com would likely have a pulley and belt for you to use. and if going OEM, you'd probable only need a belt in the correct length

the only thing i can imagine with the paxton being added later is that the belt supplied with the blowr will NOT fit cause of the a/c delete. but im sure you can messaround trying different length belts to find one that does fit.

There is probably no aftermarket underdrive crankshaft pulley kit that will let you keep the OEM non-AC belt length. You do have to be careful not to underdrive the alternator too much, no?

I have a steel underdrive crank pulley, and I found that if I changed the OE tensioner pulley to an aftermarket 90mm diameter tensioner pulley, I was able to find a 7 rib belt to use when bypassing the AC that fit well..

Expecting one pulley set up to be compatible later on to a Paxton SC , may be expecting too much though..

You might check with "Big Brake Dave". He's got a pulley kit for sale on his website.

I got a complete alum. pulley set made by "March" pulleys.(I bought them before Dave came out with his set.) They don't list the Viper in the some of the March spec. books but they make them. They can make them under or overdriven. I went with stock geometry so it wouldn't mess with the boost on my S/C. (Roe)

An extra to the performance is that they look great. Each of the pulleys has a different CNC'd cover design which is polished and clear coated. The set wasn't cheap. I don't remember the price right now but what I do remember is that they were "Vipertaxed".

I do know they will cut a pulley any way you want it. Just don't say it's for a Viper!
