GLD Drag Results 12/2/01

Weather held out to 45-50 throughout the day.The local vette(12.40's NOS,drag radials) club guys made a good showing but couldn't handle the Red and Black NOS vipers running consistant 11.40's-50's.I tried brake torque burnouts,coming out at idle, and slipping at 3500,no go.Vipers make great figure skaters.1 Supra with traction problems running high 12's.1 VR4 running low 12's.TOOOFST ran 131mph,and the Red 98'GTS ran 133mph.Next year we'll learn how to drive,try Tom BTR's advise on sway bar disconnect.

Nice, Looks like it getting a lttle too cold outside for street tires to bite now. Keep punching the mid 11's. What's on the agenda now? When are we going to see 10's?

It was quite a smoke show to 3rd gear.Maybe see U guys at the VCA Wed.Now with some cars put away I can get a decent parking spot
