I am having a problem getting into a comfortable position. When I set the seat and pedals so I can push the clutch in properly I am having to hold my foot off the gas. if I set everything for the gas pedal I am too far off the clutch. I think that if I could tighten the gas so it was not so easy to push this might help. The gas pedal is so easy to push that I can move it with my finger. This all adds up to lower back pain if driving for long time periods. any suggestions?

While I haven't experienced the fitment issues you have, I do agree that the pedal seems a bit under sprung. If you go under the hood and feel the tension on the throttle bodies however, they feel quite strongly sprung.

Interesting phenomenon.....

Funny you mention that - I kinda thought the same thing at first, too.

At first, I thought it was a little too easy to depress at very low speeds (idling down a side street or exit alley) and that it sat at a pretty shallow angle relative to the other pedals.

Just kinda gotten used to it though...

I have the Roe adjusting plate and it works OK. It made my clutch pedal not stick above the brake. However I do find the gas pedal too soft too.
