Came across this the other day. Hot Wheel "Ultrafast" gold wheel 06 Coupe. I've seen a ton of the common silver wheel cars (3rd pic) but very few with the gold wheels. Nothing like a few variations to sell more cars!

The gold version is getting harder to find. It was originally released about the same time as the one with silver wheels. And actually, in my area of PA, I saw more gold wheeled, then silver...particularly in Toys R Us.

Your 3rd pic with silver wheels is, in my opinion, the rarest because the year on the card reads '05 instead of 2006. There is a corrected version available that reads 2006 and is much more common.

Absolutely fascinating. I never noticed the 05 vs. 06 thing until you pointed it out. Wow. B/W silver wheel Coupes are everywhere in Columbus, OH. I checked my doubles and I only have one 05.

Actually, I've never seen a gold wheel B/W Coupe here. I bought the one I have on Ebay in a multi car lot. Does anyone think HW and other manufacturers regionalize their distribution?

I look a fair amount and thus far I've never come across the Black 06 Coupe (not comp Coupe) or a true red 06 street coupe (not comp Coupe and not copper).

I've been wondering the same thing. I haven't found those 2 cars (or the JL Calendar Girls RT/10) either

That's interesting about the '05 vs. '06. I'll have to check my collection. I actually saw a version of this car on ebay which could be the rarest of all. The back wheels were gold and the fronts were silver. I didn't pay attention as to whether it was on the LE card or the standard card.

I still haven't had luck finding the Calendar Viper either. I'm beginning to think it's only available through "dealers" who buy direct from JL. The one place I haven't checked yet is Hobby Lobby which is listed as a distributor of JL cars - I'd be surprised if they have this one though!
