My '94 went in 2 days ago to have the engine pulled for an Arrow rebuild. To be quite honest, I was afraid of the process after reading some of the posts on this board regarding the quality of Viper techs.

The tech at Crown Motors, in Gadsden, is James Klingbeil. James had previously installed a new bushing on my clutch pedal shaft, but that was minor compared with this job.

His intuitive mechanical skills, combined with a profound attention to detail have really impressed me. He'll take the time to explain things to me and approaches the tasks in an analytical and systematic fashion.

There's been so much bashing on the board lately that I felt compelled to share my good news.

Unfortunately, yes. James noticed the telltale tracks of antifreeze leaking down both sides of the block beneath the head gaskets. The good news is that I have an extended warranty, so that the entire job will only cost me $100.

Before the engine is reinstalled I will have all the hoses and the serpentine belt replaced. That, of course, I'll have to pay for.
