FYI, tirerack.com has g-Force R1A tires in the Viper 18" sizes on sale. A set delivered to me here in Dallas was $500. Pretty good deal for track events.

I'm kinda new to having to care about types of tires. What are the advantages of these or anything else for that matter for street use over the stock tires. I only have smooth tubes and filters but the car has enough power that I'm finding it difficult to go from a start with out spinning the tire a little bit of easing out the clutch soooo slowly that I feel I'm wearing down the clutch prematurely. Thanks!

Call quickly as I know Luke said he was running very low. If he only has some fronts, call George Ciamillo at MGW ( 706-793-1770 ), as George has a new set of rears he wants to sell really reasonable.

They are not meant for highway use, are they? I thought they were track tires.
