I know a guy that just bought a 2001 yellow ACR. It only has 500 miles or so on it, and he only wants $60k for it. He just bought it new a few weeks ago, but thinks it rides too rough. If anyone is interested, PM me.

Man he is gonna take a heck of a hit selling it for 60k
Must be nice to have more money then brains. You should have taken him for a RIDE IN YOURS BEFORE HE SPENT ALL THAT JACK THEN SELLS IT ONLY AFTER 500 MILES.

*** .... it's boneheaded moves like this that are helping to kill the resale market.

I agree.....but it's his money. "A fool and his money are soon parted"

Yeah, what they said!

However, it IS a good deal for someone, I will be passing it on to a friend, but with reservations, anyone who changes his mind this quick and who has this kind of money to burn, for sure ran the snot out of this thing without regard to break in. Seems like an immediate gratification kinda guy? If I'm wrong Carrot then correct me, you know the guy, but it seems to fit the personality, I will be passing the lead to my buddy anyway. it would be interesting to know what this guy went for after the sale...his next car...any thoughts?...my bet, Porsche.

I just met the guy last week. He lives down the street from my new house. I saw it parked in his driveway and just went and knocked on the door. He was an older gentleman, apparently fairly wealthy. He told me he had a couple of land speed records at Bonneville back in the day. He had several cool cars, and bought the Viper because he thought it was beautiful. He doesn't like the way it rides! lol He said his wife won't even ride in it because it's too rough. I told him I could probably drum up a buyer for it and he told me he'd sell it for around $60k. I assume $60k would buy it. He bought the car new from a small dealer, so the warranty has just started. No stripes, solid yeller. Let me do a little more investigating and I'll let you guys know what the scoop is.

OK, I talked with him this morning. What he would like to do is trade the car in with me so he can get the tax credits, and then we will sell it to you. It now has about 2k miles, but it's just like new. 34 months 34k miles left on the warranty. I don't have any pics, but you guys know what a solid yellow ACR looks like. You can call me at 469-222-5096 if you have any further questions.
