My engine was just put in recently after Arrow Rebuild. I was working on Sean Roes Fan Kit when I discovered a Cut Wire. The Wire was in the cluster of wires at the Engine Connector near the Coolant Tank side of the engine. The engine was running fine before I discovered it. Still is. It is GREEN With a YELLOW STRIPE. I reattached the two where it was cut. I now have the Battery Discharge light on. Brand new Battery. Just trying to figure it out and cant find it in the manual. Any Help Thanks. Maybe it is on because I connected them without disconnecting the battery?

That is low on their part!

If the Tech who did the job is here and is reading this post, you will NOT get a job at my Dealership!! Don't even ask!!

By the way, there is no Viper Tech in Jax. The dealer mechanic who is the only one there who works on them was having problems getting the Discharge light to go off before I got the car back and he thought it may go off after a while. When I brought it back, he still had trouble and now I am wondering if he cut it to make it go away. Or if he just happened to do it by accident on install.

What needs to be fixed to make it go the discharge light go out?

To me you have answered the question!

The "Charging System" need to be looked at.

Chuck, can you tell me why he would have cut the wire? I am not a super tech guy, so I am curious as to why and if it had to have been intentional. It would seem so, considering there are a lot of wires there and this was the only one. Maybe the discharge light was on and he could not figure out why and just cut this wire.

Is it bad for the car to have this disconnected and what exactly does this wire tell me. Thanks
