GTS hood

You can see from the 3rd picture from the bottom that the front driver's side upper frame rail is bent inwards (forward of the shock tower). My guess is that the same is true for the bottom and the passenger side rails. That's pretty serious especially if the frame on either side moved backwards (from front collision).

Uggh!! Front windshield is cracked!! Could be bad frame damage.

Hood is about 10,000.00, front core support is about 2000.00, front facia is about 3000.00. Windshield is expensive. The list goes on and on.

A salvage title stays with the car, I dont think any state will
remove the label, very difficult to resell and the value stays
low even if restored. A very bad stigma unless you are just going to trash the car on the track anyway.

If you're looking at building it into a race car then it may not be such a bad deal. There are fiberglass and carbon fiber hoods for $2,500 to $5K. As well as doors and other parts.

What I keep thinking about is if the car is going to be tracked then it's going to get torn up. It would be difficult for me to take a car as pristine as GTSREDDOG's and set it up for racing. I'd rather have something a little ragged for setting up for the track.

Hood, $6000
Core support $500
Facia, new, $1295
Windshield, new, $500 (!) (list $2100)
