GTS, silver with steel gray stripes?

I think about adding stripes to my silver GTS.

Steel gray would be nice, or?

Paintshop profis?

If simple feedback is of any use, I think the color combo would be fabulous. The Steel Gray with Silver Stripes is one of the most refined and tasteful looking colors available on the Viper. You're basically considering the inverse color scheme, which should be nice as well.

Also, I can't think of a better color than Grey or Anthracite for stripes on a silver car.

Forget the stripes.Too childish for me.Makes the car look too long for its width.A supercar that wishes to be taken seriously doesn't wear stripes.Little kids and pre teen on lookers love them though. Bruce

BTW, I do not think that stripes are "childish" - the blue one with the white stripes is a classic at all and the final edition red one with the white stripes will become a classic car very soon, too.

Markus I heard that vipers are very exspensive in germany and they hit you with a high taxes. What would a used 97-2002 viper gts sell for in germany? and yes I would put the stripes on I think they make the car.

In Germany, DC does NOT sell the Viper any more. Therefore, you may buy a used one (1992-1999) or import one from Canada/USA (plus approx. 25% TAX = VAT and import tax).

The used ones depending on the year and the miles etc. have a price between 40,000 EURO and 100,000 EURO.

For example, last weekend I saw an add in the newspaper: a 2000 GTS, low mileage, like new, black with silver stripes: EURO 102,000!

Stripes look great. Blue or grey, both look great. One thing I see aftermarket stripes do is going around the NACA duct. I don't think that looks as good as the factory stripes that include the duct.

I wasn't sure about stripes before, but now I like them better than monochromatic color on certain cars, and added them to mine.

I think that the steel gray is a nice color, but on silver it will almost look like ghost stripes.

My favorite stripes color on silver is blue.

Also I don't like the stripes going around the NACA duct as well because it breaks up the flow of the lines.
