As many of you know, I'm battling a oil leak from hell! I just put on brand new Valve cover gasket from Mopar. It still looks like it's leaking in the same place. All valve cover bolts are secure and tight. What would you suggest I do? If the gasket doesn't seal it, do you think the valve cover could be warped?

Any advice is appreciated!

When I torque down my bolts, is there a certian pattern? Does anyone have a scanner they can scan the page that sows that? I pretty much zig zag on the pattern when I tightened the bolts.

You might want to remove the valve cover again and check the underside with a straight edge. Make certain there are no imperfections on the mating surfaces. You could use a little RTV (sensor safe) on them, not typically a necessity. You may call me at the shop and I'll try to walk you through it.

Regards,
Doug
