I was looking at ways to possibly pin my pulley on my Paxton set up. I was thinking of putting a pin through the top of the pulley by the grooves through the arm where the pulley slides on. It would obviously be flush so that way the belt wouldn't be torn up by it. I would use some type of high strenght expoxy to help keep it in there. What do you think about this idea?

Is it not keyed ? Even if it is not and it is a tapered shaft........leave it alone. Believe me....Paxton knows what they are doing. The injector pump on my diesel is a tapered shaft with a gear instead of a pulley. This injector pump is like a small six cylinder engine and when installed correctly (CLEAN) it does not slip.......if it slips the truck quits running. I know my Procharger is keyed.
