I'm very curious to see if anyone has used these headers? Maybe some feedback on sound or dyno results or fitment? I was curious cause they are cheap and seem to be made out of the same material and grade as the American racing headers.

Here are some pics from the auction they are selling for $849 that's a crazy price

I very seriously considered them while I had the engine out. I'm not one of those "Chinese stuff is junk" type of people. I travel to China for work and have been in a lot of factories and seen some very high quality stuff, and buy quite a few products from over there that are better quality than I have ever gotten from domestic suppliers.
I talked to all three vendors and got them down a little on price by telling them NOBODY was going to buy these for full price without an honest review from a fellow owner. I think I got them down to around $725 or so. The problem was SLOW communication and I went back forth for two weeks before I decided it wasn't worth it.
If they crack, you're out what you paid for them and the labor (or your time) to put them on. Then you have to take them off and buy a proven set and put them on.
Plus, if communication was that bad when trying to buy, what do you think it will be like if there is a problem?
I searched other car forums and most people who had them were generally happy. They did say there were some initial fit-up issues. That worried me with how tight it is when installing headers on a Viper.

In the end, I decided it wasn't worth the possible risk and pain in the ass. I called Matt at M&M and bought a proven set from a trusted vendor. He was great to deal with, shipped them fast, and are already coated to help with heat. I don't regret my decision for a second.

I don't remember the last time I bought the cheapest version of anything and waa completely blown away with the product/service.

I'm sure these Chinese Viper headers will be different

I think you would have to pull the engine to install those. I also think the port shape is wayyyyyy off. If you buy them, please post up how it went.:smirk:

I'm not sure if I want to buy them because of the fact that no one has tried them and I honestly rather go with a local (us) vendor. If I do change my mind I will post up pictures. And the port shape does look off and a bit small based on the other header designs that I have seen.

A couple pics of Steve's ACR style headers. He also carries the tri-y style and long tube type.

Being one who has limited money for mods to my RT, I would be a perfect candidate for these headers if in the market. HOWEVER, the Viper is not a "cheap" car in any sense of the word and, so if I was to do headers, I would want to make sure they were good quality, long lasting and had good references. That said, cheap many times leads to replacement, hence, not so cheap in the end.

I agree with Plum (again), I would wait until you had the money (if you don't already), and go for a recommended set of headers from one of our VCA vendors. Should anything happen, at least you know you should be covered.

One other thing, I don't particularly like the welds showing, looks very unfinished! (Look at the photo of Steve's headers, nice clean finish).

I got belanger headers, my installer took about 10 hours to do a meticulous installation. On such a product I would not take the risk of going through a reinstall if the cheaper headers fails and I end up having to buy a second set.
Dont get burned by headers !

Assuming the build quality is the same, I had installed some Ebay headers on my C5 quite a few years ago and what a nightmare that was !
To get them to fit right and the way they ended up burning my AC line, I ended up spending more on them than if I had went with a quality name brand.

You get what you pay for IMHO.
