I got tired of all the scratches on the font bumper so I pulled it off and I am getting it repainted. The bumper is so easy to take off, took less than 5 min. While it was off I thought it was a good time to fix the gap between the headlights and the hood, very easy fix. Just added some body spacers under the headlights and the gap is gone! Here are some pics of the bumper off:

Patrick - I'm going to be doing the same thing shortly. Can you give me a quick overview of the steps you took to take off the bumper cover (facia)? I do have a few threads saved on the subject, but less than 5 mins seems like a no-brainer. Maybe you have a shortcut? :D

First pop the hood and with a pair of pliers pull out the plastic push pins, then remove the screws from the wheel wells, 8mm I believe. Do both sides and then there are a few 10mm screws on the bottom. Once you get them all out just pull the lips of the bumper off from the side. Set the bumper down on some towels or something soft on the ground. Then you can disconnect the fog lights and the parking lights. It is very easy and you can do it by yourself. Good luck!

Thanks Patrick. Let me know how much it cost you for the repaint. I'm sure it varies greatly from shop to shop, and depending upon quality of job and part of country, but I'm still curious...
