Head light Lense Cover Removal

Anybody know how to remove the plastic headlight covers? I need to clean the inside or replace entirely.

The only way I have ever done it is by removing the front fascia. There are 3 or 4 bolts on the bottom of each headlight. You have to pay careful attention to where the shims are(if there are any in there to adjust the height to line up with the fascia and hood). Once they are out, you simply do what you have to do and put it all back together.

I would like to also add that the lenses can be cleaned-polished with Zaino plastic polish. But, if you use any abrasive it will damage the clearcoat on them, so be careful. (They be pricey!)

(p.s. Chuck, could you post the reassembly directions too)

Side note: The UV coat (which is on the outside of the lens) has a 10 year full daily Arizona intensity sunlight design life.

Long live the garage queen...
