Who does proven head work for the Gen 1 Viper?
What kind of performance increase to be expected?

Thanks

Tim

Are there any definitive examples of true power increases and how much? We all know of those that talk the talk but can they walk the talk? An example is my friend with his 99 GTS that put on Borlas Headers and Exhaust with the low restriction Cats as well as his K&N’s. Then there is my stock 94 with K&N’s and no Cats that still beats him every time. Even switching cars with the drivers it’s the same result, the 94 wins every time.

My heads are coming off to change out the head gaskets and while they are off I will consider having some head work done to insure the competitive edge as my friend is looking seriously at a blower but I will need some references before I do anything.

I would definately recommend it. I'm having my RT/10 done and it will dyno at 650. Prior to agreeing to the work I was taken for a ride in a recently completed Gen 1 with 600. It kicked!

Tim:
It's being done by John Horton of West Coast Viper in Temecula, California. Tel: 909-676-1204. He's efficient, punctual and honest. I would certainly recommend him.
