Headlight bulbs are accessible through rear panel (see ruckdr's post). The bulbs lock into the reflector. The hole for the bulb is smaller than your hand, so you won't be able to get in there real good to clean up. I am not sure if the reflector is removable, it looks like one piece with the housing.
I've seen that problem on a number of Vipers, thankfully mine didn't have that problem. However, by removing the bulbs it gives you an opening to the lens. The best way to remove the condensation is to leave the bulbs out, throw a pack of dessicant (those little bags that come in LOTS of dry stuff) and replace the back cover for a day. This will **** the moisture out of the front and when you seal it back up (hopefully on a cool dry day) it shouldn't come back if the seal is tight. It worked on a Honda!
James,
I assume you mean the access door to the headlight bulbs at the rear of the headlight assembly ??
1) remove the front inner fender piece
2) Remove the wing nuts at the rear of the headlight assembly.
(may need a little persuasion to remove the cover as there
is a rubber seal)
Later,
Headlight housing removal requires removal of the front facia. after facia is removed, undo wing nuts at bottom of housing/radiator core support interface. Carefully mark where those bolts are located and keep track of how many shims are under there.
If you are referring to the back covers, then it's what ruckdr said above.
I need access to the clear lense part, there is some kind of funk thats made it's way under there (like fog that won't go away) and I want to polish it out.
From what I have seen, you can't remove the reflectors, it's all one piece with the housing. Could be wrong though, since I have not tried to remove them.
