As I posted yesterday, Jason Heffner finished putting his larger aftercooler and larger injectors on my car. A few months ago my car dynoed at 812 rwhp (corrected) when Jason tuned it with his blower system, making it the highest horsepower, non-nitrous blown Viper in the world!

With the new aftercooler Jason was able to pick up an additional 31 rwhp with his skillful tuning bringing it to 843 rwhp and 792 rwtq (corrected). Once again, this raises the bar for a supercharged Viper (no nitrous). No dyno tricks were used (i.e., icing of the engine, race fuel, etc.) As soon as Jason was finished I rode off into the sunset (albeit a little sideways!!). Of course, dyno results are one thing, but the proof is on the track.

For those who are new here or just tuning in, my car has the following setup:

- single blower making 12 psi of boost
- 93 octane pump gas (no race fuel or nitrous)
- Heffner's large aftercooler
- 50 lb/hr injectors
- ported/polished heads with larger valves
- stock '97 Viper cam
- fuel management system
- forged pistons
- Heffner's expert tuning expertise

For all you guys who have cars being supercharged at Heffner's, you're in for a real treat. For you guys that have yet decided to make the plunge, I invite you for a test ride and you will never look back!

Here's the dyno sheet:

Thanks again to Jason and all his hardwork and great engineering!

Simply amazing. I guess that equats to right at a grand at the crank. I bet that is one hell of a ride and all you have to do is turn the key and go.

Enjoy and be careful!

Gary - CONGRATULATIONS to you and Jason for a job well done...AGAIN! One of the many things that I like about your car is the conservative appearance. It shows no sign of the massive HP just waiting to be unleashed on the next victim (i.e., ricer, stang, and everything else).

Be careful with that sideways stuff!

I thought you had 844 RWHP before? Regardless awesome numbers and Awesome Car.

Thanks Dr Roof! The results before were 812 rwhp corrected which equates to 844 rwhp uncorrected (as published). We picked up 31 rwhp corrected.

I'm very interested in your drag racing event in KY that you're putting together. I really hope it comes together and all these high HP cars can compete together to decide who's the undisputed King of Vipers!!!

Jason - The sound of the Corsa system/Random Tech cats is awesome. The car finally sounds like one bad [******] Viper, just like Gary's...well maybe not exactly.

BTW, the EBC greens are exactly what I expected...no more brake dust or squealing!

Thanks Kevin!! The credit all goes to Jason. He's a master when it comes to supercharging and Vipers.

Gary

I spoke with the track again today and they are working hard to give me a garuanteed date. As soon as I have that I will really push for a great event.

I think this HP thing is gonna get wild! The bar will continue to raise. We need to have an event before all the 800 HP cars are considered Slow!

Again awesome car and I can't wait for some track action. Take your to the track and post some numbers real soon!

Good deal!! Let me know if you need help putting this together. I had a lot of fun at Bowling Green before VOI.7 and think it's a great venue. We'll definitely be there!

WOW - Great numbers!!!

I noticed you have a stock '97 cam. Do you think you would pick up additional HP by changing cams?? Any reason you stayed with a stock cam??

Kick asp! But I'm confused, what's Treynor's RWHP when not on nitrous? Or is the distinction that, unlike him, yours does not have nitrous available to tap into?

I think Treynors was something like 836 RWHP still shreading the tires on the dyno. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Once he straps it down, who knows what he'll get out of it..
