Help on mufflers for Gen 1 Viper

I have taken off my Cats on my 94 RT 10 and what a difference on heat on the feet. There is none. The car sounds a little bit better and no drone that I have heard about. There is a noticeable increase in power.

I want to go to some different mufflers but I don’t want a bunch more noise. I called Corsica but they have no interest in helping me out with the Gen 1 car. Bottles are out as they are too noisy and will attract too much attention.

Ideally what I need is something that is 5 ½” in OD and certainly no larger than 6” max and nearly the full length of the side sills as I don’t need Cats when most of my time is on the track and the cars are not smog tested up here.

Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations on what is out there and works?

I have 23" Dynomax Bullit's, no cats. Extra LOUD!
Dont take it unless you want to buy hearing aids later.

I like it though, but the noise is a bit too much, so I may be in market for something interresting.

Roe Racing have this setup on my 94 love it,CATS we don't need no stinking cats.

Just put a set of Borlas on a 95, not loud but way better than stock!!!

I have dynomax with roe cats. It is mean sounding and loud. I think I scare all the rice burners away lol.

dynomax are the cheapest and loudest. I put 2 mufflers in series on each side. Was not too bad, but did have a drone at 60-70mph with the top on. Laurie-your car sounds great, espcially when you blip the throttle under a bridge!

I have Borla's on my 94 w/ 3" [******] cats and Valaya headers. Resonance out the *****. Make good HP, but I can't stand the resonance! Looking for new mufflers as we speak!

This is what you do, call up Corsa and order the SRT10 Race system, no crossover and weld them on using your existing hangers, (Awsome) I am going to put them on my 96 GTS with Gen 1 Sidepipe covers, I already ordered them

I called Corsa and they said that their system won’t work on my car. I also tried to order their mufflers only and I was told no. I also asked what the dimensions were of their mufflers and I was told that they did not have that information handy. It was very apparent that they had zero interest in helping me. With the type of response that I received my guess is that business is booming and their making a killing on what they sell.
