I’m going to replace my factory cats and resonator on my 2002 gts when I get back from deployment, Im having a guy fab up some high flow cats with piping already welded on to them.I need to know what the minimum amount of pipe im going to need welded to the cats. If someone has the length (roughly I can always trim if to long) from the start of the factory cat to the end of the resonator that would be great!

I would wait until you get home so you don't end up waisting $ on materials and work. Any exhaust shop should be able to fab up the pipes pretty fast. Thanks for your service and Good luck .

You hit the nail on the head, it keeps me busy and still lets me feel like im still involed in the viper. Anyway the guy is going to fab it up at no extra cost so I figured why not?

I feel the same, I am in Korea and I want to know how wide the opening is on the rear where the exhaust comes out, also how much piping there is after the differential.

Trying to get my bro to measure it currently haha.

I have my stock exhaust system in the garage so I measured it. From the the front of the cat (right before it tapers up) to the end of the resonator is 41". The original owner of my Viper cut it into two pieces (probably for storage), but I'm pretty sure there isn't any missing material. There is approx 5" between the cat and the resonator.
