Now's your chance to purchase a new Coupe or Roadster and NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF YOUR SNAKE FOR 100,000 MILES or 7 YEARS!!!!
Auburn Hills, Mich., Nov 1, 2001 - As America enters the holiday season, more and more people will be travelling by car than any other time in recent memory. Peace of mind is more important than ever. In response, Chrysler Group today announced its "Home for the Holidays" program, which will provide - at no charge - a seven-year/100,000-mile powertrain protection plan on any 2001 and 2002 Chrysler, Jeep® or Dodge vehicle purchased between November 1, 2001 and December 31, 2001.
"Quite simply, we want people to feel secure that their car, truck or minivan will be taken care of for a long time," said Jim Schroer, Executive Vice President - Global Sales and Marketing. "This holiday season will be an extra special one for all Americans and their families. And we all want to be extra close to friends and loved ones. With so many other things on people's minds, we want to assure our customers that the long-term protection of their vehicle won't be a concern."
Schroer continued: "The 'Home for the Holidays' program is a significant initiative because it is designed to shift consumers' attention to the value of our vehicles, rather than on the size of the discount, such as the current zero percent financing offers on select Chrysler Group vehicles that will end November 19."
"Instead of focusing only on discounts, we want consumers to be better informed on the attributes of our products -- quality, value, performance and the many other 'why-buys' that make our products so attractive," said Schroer.
George Murphy, Senior Vice President - Global Brand Marketing said: "We have a portfolio of some of the freshest products in the industry, with vehicles like Chrysler PT Cruiser, Jeep Liberty and the just-introduced Dodge Ram, along with great value pricing on our 2002 models. When you combine all that with the security of an extended service plan, we think we offer consumers the best opportunity in the market to buy a new car or truck."
