A while back dave6666 posted an ordered list of basic power upgrades. I have been browsing the VCA the past few weeks and noticed a large number of threads looking for upgrade and modification suggestions.

Here's your chance to share some of your recommended upgrades/modifications both performance and cosmetic.

Some of my favs:

1. Clear side markers - (Screw the law, leave the clear bulb in too). If you can afford a Viper and 93 or above octane gas for it, you can certainly afford that silly non-moving violation for it looking good.

2. 5 or 6 point racing harness - (Even stock it's got the power of 6 or 7 Honda Civic's. Plus they look sweet!)

3. Exhaust - (Whether you go with a full system or just a modified one for a little sound, get one. It's fast and it looks good, shouldn't it sound good too.

4. Personalized Tag - (Give em something else to stare at)

5. Maguire's Gold Class Wax - (Simply the best for Black RT/10's :headbang: )

If ya got 'em and like 'em, recommend 'em ! :usa:

Roe supercharger 8# with water/**** inj. with MSD Boost a pump and catback exhaust.

Although the Paxton also works well the Roe gives full torque at 2,000rpm and hp peaks earlier providing hp for much longer and making the car faster than the "equivalent" Paxton or TT setup.

Research indicates a 700rwhp Roe is equivalent to a 900rwhp Paxton or TT, but for a lot less money.

The Roe installs in as little as 6 hrs at home with no chassis chopping!

Rockers (1.7) are a good choice for a power increase as well.

I have to agree with you 100%. from the research i have done on these threads, there have been happy customers of both the roe and the Paxton, but straight up, you are right, the Roe gives more power down low and more throughout the rpm range therefore giving you more over all power. I of course cant go by experience as Sean doesnt have one for the SRT yet, but when he does, I will for sure be getting one as I am sure it will be even better than the GenII Version. The only question is when Mr. Roe??

Mr. Roe does have a supercharger for the V10 pickup. It looks like a Magnussen. I suspect that with a little fabrication (change the top/input) it would fit under a custom hood on a Gen 3?

I can't get past the Gen 2's unique looks so I don't want a Gen 3 and am really happy with my '01 GTS. Once I wear it out, I'll probably buy another GTS and wear that one out as well. Lol.

I am contemplating changing the hood scoop on my car as I think there would be some decent gains from a larger opening. I'm also thinking of cutting some Gen 4 style vents into the hood. Haven't got the picture in my head yet ... but it's coming.

Yeah I saw the Roe he has for the SRT Truck, but I still think it looks too high even for the new 2008 Hood. I am sure he has thought about offering the kit as an option for someone that has the 2008 hood if that was the case, but maybe like you said with some fabrication, it could work. I think that would be sweet to go with the Vent idea on the GTS hood, would be different, that is for sure. Maybe use the guy that does the renderings for GTS Bruce to do up a hood for you to see what it would look like. I am sure the cooling from the vents would for sure be beneficial as others have stated already with the 2008 hood on the SRT.
