My car has been acting wierd the last week. As if it is cutting out on acceleration. I am thinking it may be the clutch. But it only has 5k on her. My 98 had 25k and was on the original clutch. It feels as if the engine stumbling and not the clutch. I need to take it to Chuck, but recently had a newborn and time is a commidity right now. Any quick pointers on how to tell if it is the clutch without dropping the Tranny?

Is this a rare occurance with the newer vipers (no use of loctite, clutch issues-slipping etc.).?

Some people pick a hill to go up from a dead stop and play with the hill to see if the clutch is catching.

A bad clutch is not going to give you the feeling that it is cutting out. A bad clutch gives you the feeling that the engine is reving high and your not going anywhere. With this you get a really nasty burning smell. If it was the clutch trust me, you would know.
