Hood pad question

One driverside one center with logo.

Are you going to paint your hood pad?

What timing Steve.

I just noticed what I thought was a lack of a right side pad as well. Noticed the holes and all as you did. Called my dealer and they said they found the part and it was $500. ouch, that's CDN bucks, but still alot of cash! The question remains, is it missing, or do they not come with a right side pad??

When I checked with my dealer about buy a new pad if
I screwed up the stock one (painting it)
he checked the computer and the answer he gave me was no.
only driverside and center.
so a $500 part is probably just the driverside he will sell
you to use on the passenger side.
But if it did not come from the factory with it you don't need it.

The Year Matters !

Hood pads are a carry-over part from Gen I.3

Gen-1 had the ECU/PCM on the RIGHT, and an insulating pad Right.

Gen-2 has the ECU on the LEFT and so the insulation is Left.

If you want uniformity for that reason alone, I do have the partial pads at PartsRack.
