Hood Springs- Part #?

Does anyone know Dodge's part number for the hood springs. Mine have become weak and barely hold the hood up and I want to replace them but my local dealer had a hard time finding the part number. Are they sold as the springs alone or with the bracket that mounts to the frame and hood hinge? Please PM me if you have a part # and/or an answer. Thanks.

Oh yeah...it's a Gen. 2 RT/10.

Might try a little trick instead. Lift the hood up and put superglue in the coil part of the springs. The more glue the more it will stick. I did this and it helped. I've heard of others that can get there's to stop anywhere doing this. And don't worry, you can still close it. Super glue isn't strong enough to keep you from closing it. Good luck.

Did you by chance lube the hood recently? The first thing to do, even before the superglue, is to clean the springs. Try using Gunk degreaser, just don't let it sit on the paint. Power spray it off and let it dry. I bet it helps.

Chuck...does that mean that the springs are in fact sold with their hinge assembly that mounts to the frame and then to the main hood hinge bracket?

Yes they are a complete assembly from frame to hood.
