Hot Rod Power Tour, Tallahassee to Orlando

Drove up to Tallahassee today to catch the last leg of this years Hot Rod Power Tour. Amazing there are 2000 cars here, but only four Vipers. I was hoping for a little street action tonight, but some semi tropical storm came through, roads are wet. Amazing how much attention the Viper is getting, after 10 + years it is still a big crowd pleaser. Maybe the chrome supercharger and the wicked exhaust sound has something to do with it. Hoping roads are dry tomorrow so I can have some fun with the innocent motor heads that want a crack at the Viper tomorrow on the way to Orlando. Not sure what a 2005 Mercedes E55 is doing on the power tour, but he shocked the dyno crown today by putting down 525 rwhp and 600 rwtq, I guess it is no longer Grandpa's Merc.

Saw the tour as it settled into Indpls. Raceway Park...cars everywhere!!! Saw one Viper pulling in.

One of our members saw the group as they neared Nashville,TN on Tue...said it was an impressive show on the highway.
