How do you change the temp Gauge Sending unit.........

How do you change the temp Gauge Sending unit on a 1993 Viper without removing the thermostat?

I can't reach the temp Gauge sending unit to save my life. Even took off the hose to the thermostat. Is there something I am missing?

Mine was changed out last week, but unfortunately not by me. You may give the guys at A.R.T. a call to see if they can point you in the right direction.

Getting the wrong reading from it (Too low) so I am changing it out.

Looks like I am going to have to remove the thermostat housing to do it.

reason i asked and im sure you already know our gen 1 always had problems with readings
