How do you disable Canadian daytime running lights?

On a '94 Canadian RT, there is a white wire at the false battery post (on the driver's side near the windshield washer bottle.) Disconnecting it there was lots easier that unplugging the module; it's on the frame rail, ahead of the right rocker cover, above oil filter, below other stuff... basically you can sort of see it, but can't really reach it.

Ryan, if I can get it out and that disables them (and leaves the headlight switch working, of course), you can have the module. Now if I can just find a d*** shipper that's not full of BS to pick the car up in northern NY.

Thanks Ryan. My problem is getting someone to pick it up NOW, as opposed to two or three weeks down the road. These guys all promise the moon to get the job, then immediately start waffling about when they're going to get there. And now my car is sitting at the importer and the shipper I was going to use is saying next Thursday. Yesterday they were saying next Monday, and next Thursday they'll be saying the following Monday. I'm about ready to borrow a trailer and go get the car myself. I'll give your guy a call though and see what he says.

I understand there is a daytime running light module. Is it as simple as pulling that module out, or is there another module/plug that has to go in there to replace the DRL module?
