How does an RT/10 compare to a GTS for track use?

Although I would never even consider trading my RT/10 for any GTS, there are definate addvatages in the GTS over the RT when it comes to track use. If you are going to be using your car for alot of track time then a GTS is the Viper for you. And this has nothing to do with track times, since the few events I have been at the comperably prepared GTS and RT are about the same in performance.

We have many RT owners running on road courses quite effectively. Yes, the coupe is definitely more "solid", but if you are considering track use as an occassional fun learning experience, you're OK. Most tracks do want either a roll cage, or a hard top installed... and their is a recent topic on this board that mentions even stricter requirements at some tracks.
