Today I added sims since I did not have cats. My car run very FAT with no sims. I drove the car for 5 miles but it still was very fat. How long does it take for the computer to re-learn?

Did you try disconnecting the battery? The computer should be able to compensate for modifications within about fifty miles. You should check the computer for fault codes and monitor your ohter sensors to verify that everything is working properly. The EASE software that Sean Roe sells is a very useful diagnostic tool. Also how do you know the car is running rich? Cars with no converters sometimes smell rich because the converter isn't cleaning up the exhaust gases. Good luck.

Thanks. I put the car on the dyno and run 10.8 which is very, very RICH. I'm installing Sean's VEC1 and hope that this will help me.
