The only reason I don't is because I don't have covered parking at work. The Florida sun is brutal on paint.

I drove my 99 GTS a lot (17k in one year). Until someone keyed it. I don't drive my ACR as much do to that. But, I still drive it almost every other day. I would drive it daily if I wasn't so paranoid now. I just have to plan ahead when I want to park for any period of time.

I drive my RT/10 daily. We have a very large parking lot w/ security patrols and cameras. I've had no problems so far. Being a white car, the sun isn't as brutal on it as say red when I don't cover it, but I usualy do.
I have a 3 mile vault to work, it's get on the highway, cruise at 70 for 1 minute then get off LOL. But still fun. Do drive in the rain ocassionaly, but usualy its only when i'm caught. However she drives just fine in the rain!

Depends on so many things, like what you do for a living? Where are you going to be parking the car? I don't consider the car an every day driving car for most people. If you want that, stick to a Vette. But then again, some of the guys on this board have pockets deep enough to be able to repaint, replace, repair the car anytime needed. I don't. So I drive my Dakota to work, and use the Viper for "other" things.

Vipermad - The Rules - when you get a request you should email a copy back saying "do you agree to these" and only activate the account when it comes back. It'll serve a second purpose too, the Ricers don't have patience to send TWO emails to get onto a forum, they'll just go to the .com site.
Rickster - I drive my cars daily, but none of them are Vipers. In the summertime I see a couple of Daily's on 95 though so there are people who do fine with them.

Many people ask "how do you fit in that thing!?" Ummm.. just fine, I don't get it. I guess it looks smaller than it is.
I've put on 500 miles since I bought my car, but alot of that was the drive back (130 total by the time I got home). I'm with 2tall... drive it like it was designed to be!

I probably put a total of 25K-30K miles on cars during a given year. The only thing that saves the value is that I don't drive my sports cars in the winter.

It was really uncomfortable at first, but now my body is used to it. I've got the whole sitting down/getting out routine locked in.
Even though Cali has 20% of all vipers made, I still sometimes feel special driving it around--not that that's the reason I drive it.
The reason I drive the viper is simple. I love going really fast. Motorcycle fast. Hey! I raced a motorcycle from a stoplight a few days ago and kept up!*
