I have an '00 RT/10 that I wanna put a 4 point rollbar into. I think Autoform has one for around $1,200 anyone else?

More importantly how hard is it to install into an RT, can I do it myself? If not what do you think a ballpark figure is for an install?

I checked with BTR and they told 'ME' they didn't have a rollbar for an RT.

I purchased one from Autoform however it was $2k. I think $1200 would be a 2 point. Its not particularly difficult to install but I would have a couple of suggestions. First dump the thread setter nuts and go with long bolts. I had some difficulties getting the nuts to set correctly. Possibly using a 1/16th smaller bit would have helped in that department. Next, you gotta be pretty nimble and able to crawl around the car. I had a couple of guys helping me and was glad I did.

I would also talk with SSpeedRacer cause I think he is using RaceCraft in Phoenix to install his rollbar. I'll be going there to get seat mounts.

Hope this helps.

Ron, Try Brian Nightingale @ Racecraft - 623-937-6990. He has done a bunch of Vipers (I think he did PMUM's). The quality is great and the price is right.

If you want a high quality roll bar with installation, Call Dan Cragin and ask him for Andy Bondio's phone#. If you want the least expensive call the Parts Rack.

Andy's shop (Bondio Fab)is pretty close to LAX.
