How much would you pay for this 94 rt/10

Ok...I got an email from the guy...this is what is included.

The car does have A/C. The car stickered for 58,500.00 when new.
Soft top and side windows included. All paperwork including the original window sticker, the original shipping order, and some sort of top that he is not sure of still in the original package. If anybody would like to check out the pics for me...email me and I will email them back to you.

The carfax report came back clean.

I have found a 94 rt/10 green with 1200 miles in 100% stock form including the tires etc. He claims the car is the first green car off the line and has some sort of paperwork to back that up. The guy is asking 44,900.00 for it. Any thoughts? I really am considering it as I really like the green. I think I will add silver stripes..maybe. Again... thanks everybody for your input. He also claims no paint work or any major work done on the car. At 1200 miles...would any major problems already surfaced?

The car is located in Montrose, Minnesota. Anybody near there to take a look or when and if I go up there I would have a pair of trained eyes?

Toby, no doubt that's a NICE car. Low miles also..
45,000 is VERY STEEP for a GenI, IMHO. Does it come with hardtop? That's another 2-3k, A/C? I think A/C is standard that year. Also, GenI's are known for the head gasket problem, but not as much as the 92's and 93's I think. I think earlly 94's were still a problem, perhaps someone knows more about that. I had a late 94 and never had a head gasket problem (but it only had 15kmiles). Look for signs of weekping on the heads and by thermostat. REmember, worst thing for a car is for it to sit. Perhaps he drove it now and then and that's not the case..

Offer 39k and RUN with it..

I have yet to get the VIN but I will post the results when I get them. Good question about the hard top. He is willing to go under the asking price but I do not have a solid number yet.

I'd be very leery of the low miles with the age, it may have sat quite a lot and have a lot of problems as result - I'd want this thoroughly checked first.
