Hello Viperholics,

I have a 1998 GTS with the stock Alpine CD Head Unit. What are my options for installing a CD changer? I do not want to change the stock Alpine head unit, so I am looking for a CD changer that can/will work with the Alpine. Can you also specify the disk holding capabilities of the different CD changers that will work with the above specs...

Thanks!!

P.S. - There isn't a remote control available for the stock Alpine CD player, is there?

There is an optional 6 disk cd player from the factory (any Mopar dealer can order it for 'ya) or...

just about every stereo retailer will have an Alpine conversion wiring kit that will allow you to hook up to other Alpine multi disk players.

In my 97 GTS I pulled the factory radio and did not see any
way to connect the CD player cable. No connection available
on the CD-radio like the one factory cassette-radio has.
If the Alpine cd changer can be used with the factory cd-radio
I would like to know how.
