The points to connect to are underhood.......the + RED terminal with the plastic cap on drivers side....and the Neg - terminal is the threaded frame post, pointing up, on the sidesill, just below and forward of the red terminal. Be sure the score this post to ensure a good contact. It is painted.
You get extra concourse 'd elegance points if the "Green doohickey cap" is still on the neg Gen-1 post! Not many are.
Since the battery is way aft, it may take a LONG time to generate enuf juice to start. I have even seen TWO cars connected to the dead Viper to make it happen....
