How to post pics & change my avatar

First I wanted to change my avatar pic soon and wanted to know if that can only be done by tony or jay?
Second how does one post pics on a thread their writing?

Adam...just send me the image for the Avatar. During the week, I work, but I usually find time in the evenings to tweak things. I didn't have much time today as I was cleaning up after yesterday...NEVER let Bugeater into your back yard!!

As for the uploads....that fearure is in progress....have you tried to upload them to the Galleries, then you can link them here? I know. Something with a few less steps....working.....
