Well, my not-under-warranty 96' Viper GTS just broke a drivers side window motor/regulator. I took it to the Dodge dealer and they wanted....(hold your breath) $ 1,000 to do the job, what a total @#?*&% rip-off. I called the partsrack and they set me up for under 3 bills. Now the hard (I hope not) part. How do you put one in? I'm getting the part by Friday and need to get it in for the weekend. Does anyone have an easy "how to" list on installing it? I already have the skin off. Thanks.

I don't have windows, but the way I'd do it is by starting by removing the existing window and putting it in will be easier....Good luck, let us know what happens.....

You think you have it bad ?
Neither one of my windows will go up ! I hear that is a common problem with gen 1 cars, but the dealer is no help. I've had
my doors apart a few times, and can't even find a place to hook up my continuity tester. Any help would be appreciated.

Has anyone done this? I heard that early GTS's of that year (96', mine is 0351) had a TSB out on the window tracks. I don't think the original owner had them replaced under warranty. Again, any help would be great.
