Has anyone installed a line lock on a 96 GTS? Hurst wants you to install it after the proporting valve. I would like to know if I could put it between the master cylinder and the proportioning valve? IT sure would make life easer

Yes I have the steel line comming from the master cylinder to the "roll controll" mounted on the metal plate just below the master cylinder. There is a "valve" that will be activated inside the prop valve giving you a brake warning light. This is because the prop valve is thinking there are no back brakes and shutting off fluid to those lines. after you release the line lock (roll controll) you will need to press on the brake pedal firmly the first time to "reset" the proprioning valve. This sounds like a big deal but in actuallity it basically goes unnoticed except for the brake light on the dash. I have used mine for a long time with no issues.

trying to install my line lock but the flare nut seems to only thread in half way and stop therefore not sealing, am I missing something? Also the little hole for the fluid to pass through in the seleniod is quite a bit off center, is this an issue?
