You just got lucky!

ha ha, I'm just kidding, thats actually fantastic, not only for the car, but also for your driving! Great technique, and great job all around! That car will defintitely hold its own with the Z.

So I guess you will be there on May 20th? I was thinking of trying my hand too. Was this your first time? If so I would say that's an excellent time.

Congrats on a great run.

At 47 degree O.A. temps. the air is a lot more dense and it is filled with lots of oxygen. Low humidity helps also. Combined this makes more HP. Spring and fall make for the best runs. Usually the NHRA breaks records during these periods.

Thus the opposite occurs in summer with high humidity and temps.

Just glancing at your timeslips you have more in it by at least 2 tenths. Notice how on your 11.83 pass had almost 4 more mph, and a better 60 foot. It was something you did different on the 11.59 pass which made your 330 time a tenth quicker, perhaps shorted sooner or later?

If you combine what you did on your 11.59 and the 11.83 I think an 11.40 or so is possible.

Was the track just super well prepped or are you just that good of a driver? Now get back out there....

You know Tom I just realized isn't the record for a stock Viper 11.58? Someone chime in that knows. If I am correct or even close that means you were real close to beating it. That's pretty awesome if true.

Ya, cmon, I wanna hear about this launch...

Hmm, I wonder how much we can believe this timeslip, being you ran those times tomorrow according to the paper!

Today's the 25th, it's not even the 26th yet.....Maybe that has something to do with those times! :D

Awesome times. Esp. for hot-lapping it. 5mins between your .833 and the .830, I'd be tempted to let it cool down some, even if the temps' in the 40's (which probably helped a bit on the ETs, but certainly not the RTs.)
As mentioned above about 60' times, even if you could squeez another few hundreds off you can double it on the other end, 11.40's within reach for sure.
